March 15, 2008

There have been many sex offender laws put into place by both State and Federal Governments, but are they working? It is difficult to say whether they are working or not to deter the abduction, rape, and murders of child. A Glendale, California jury has declared that the two doctors involved in a lawsuit, filed by the widow of John Ritter and his family, were not negligent in their care of the actor. A radiologist Dr Matthew Lotysch was accused of failing to catch a torn aorta in a scan that was performed in 2001. According to the Associated Press, Dr. Lotysch had advised Ritter that he had calcification in three coronary arteries and to have a follow up examine but the actor never did. Although I am always adding to my collection and replacing some with more powerful models there are a few tools that I could never live without. READ MORE

Save Las Vegas: Operation Baby Booties

March 8, 2008

I came across some disturbing news while searching for the airdates of my favorite shows to start airing new episodes. The season finale we saw of Las Vegas was actually their series finale. NBS has chosen not to renew their contract for the 2008-2009 season. In the fifth and finale season finale, Three Weddings and a Funeral, the weddings were easy to figure out, Sam and Casey, Piper and Mike, Delinda and Danny. The funeral had me stumped. Who was going to die? READ MORE
